Elizabeth Langland, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for Purchase College welcomes the 250 attendees. Bruce Coull, Dean Emeritus, School of the Environment at the University of South Carolina, moderated the plenary panel.

Breakout sessions were offered in tracks for administrators, facilities, faculty, and students. Speakers provided guidance on best practices and led discussions toward developing concrete strategies to implement in home institutions. View speaker presentations.
 
Attendees enjoyed networking and meeting others, including having a chance to talk to speakers one on one.
 
The exhibitor showcase provided an opportunity for attendees to meet representatives from over twenty different companies and organizations.
A special thanks to the exhibitors that donated items to the conference raffle. Prizes included free consultations from green architects and consultants, one share of produce from a local CSA, one month of free mowing from an environmentally sensitive lawn company, green cleaning products, and a CD autographed by Dar Williams, to name a few.
 
Campus teams met at the end of the conference to solidify plans of action to take upon returning to their home institution. Teams consisted of faculty, students, facilities officers, and administrators who reported their resolutions to attendees at the close.
